Kenya - A three and a half acre piece of Malindi Marine Park land leased for construction of a billionaire's club has raised protests from the municipal council and stakeholders who claim they were not consulted. The plot was leased for 25 years to Keniako Limited to put up a Sh500 million resort. Tension was high at a stakeholders meeting called by the provincial administration attended by area MP Gideon Mung'aro, Malindi mayor Samson Mapinga, deputy mayor Fuad Rudein, councillors and beach operators..."
