Arriba, arriba!

Of Speedy Shutters
Nick Ysenberg went to Cuba. He took stunning shots.
His tempo got even Mr. Gonzales over in Mexico a tad worried. Shot in Black and White, locations and sites come vibrantly alive, not least graceful, elegance in dance.
Prints started a fusion of thoughts going.
Would Ms. Alicia Alonso Martinez, the Cuban prima ballerina assoluta if she was a teen today like this decor theme?
Would she have substituted  that thing on the wall with photo essays of Cuban ballerinas? Would she find of amuse too, the set of Chairs to loop her ballet slippers?
What too would the grand old lady who took New York by storm in the 40's now in her 90's, think of Nick for not immortalising Cuba's urban gardens known locally as Organopónicos when he was there?
Organopónicos are found in cities just about everywhere, from vacant lots, backyards, on patios, roof tops and even alleys between old colonial mansions -basically growing food where it will be eaten.
Doctor Funk made
with Cuban Rum too
We took a leaf since dear Nick failed.
Introducing Planters with a bit of pzazz, great anywhere growers can find space.
So follow the masters (but no Maize or Bananas between Muthiaga old colonials please),
and grow ingredients for mixed Food Platters named after rebels, revolutionaries, Cuban/Mex theme? Che Guevara first actually met Fidel Castro whilst living in the home of the fastest mouse in all Mexico, in 1955 coincidentally the very same year Speedy Gonzales won the Oscar for Best Short Subject (Cartoon).
Go on then to grow drink essentials for your new Cocktail Lounge Doctor Funk where Nick's prints will be essential decor pieces.
